Entry Details
The Inner Sydney Brewers – Harbour City Brew-Off will be judged on the 11 March 2017. The competition has been registered with the Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP) and will use the 2015 BJCP Style Guidelines (see http://www.bjcp.org/stylecenter.php).
Entries, fully packaged for transportation containing entry forms and fees may be lodged at the following participating home brew retailers no later than close of business on Saturday 25 February 2017 - TWO weeks ahead of judging.

Wayward Brewing
Bottles can be dropped off directly to competition volunteers on Saturday 25 February Noon – 2pm at Wayward Brewing – 1/3 Gehrig Lane (Off Chester St), Annandale.

$7 per entry in cash submitted with your entries and entry form
Entry Requirements
1. Entrants must complete
a) an electronic entry form at (click here)
b) a completed paper entry form (click here including bottle labels)
2. Each entry will consist of 1 bottle of a minimum of 500 ml (or two 375 ml containers).
3. A maximum of 1 entry per Category.
4. All styles of bottle will be accepted, however, the organiser will not accept responsibility for light strike, resulting from packaging in clear glass or plastic. Organisers will not accept responsibility for entries entered in the wrong category, although feedback will still be given.
5. Bottles will not be returned at completion of judging.
6. The competition is restricted to amateur brews, either extract or all-grain. Entries must be submitted under the brewer's name(s).

7. We think that beer made from commercially produced fresh wort kits have an unfair advantage over genuinely home-brewed beers. We will be happy to provide feedback on these entries but they are not elligible for prizes. Obviously this relies on your honesty - please note your entry form accordingly.
8. If specialty beers do not have further details, the judges may not be able to give full comments or scores on the beers (though all attempts to judge these entries will be made). For specialty beers please include the base style if there is one, plus other information that you think would aid judges such as brewer’s intention, use of unusual ingredients or methods. This information should be added to the online entry form or as an additional page attached to the entry form.
Awards
Conditions for an Award

For awards to be made to any category there must be a minimum of 3 entries in the category.

An award will not be made to a category if, in the opinion of the judges, the quality of entries in that category does not warrant an award.

Best of Show beer will be awarded to the category winning entry with the highest average score. (No overall competition Best of Show round will be held.)

Results will also be posted on this website following the completion of judging

Results and score sheets will be emailed to exhibitors as soon as possible after the competition is completed.

Sponsor prizes will be mailed as soon as possible.
Judges Decisions
The judges’ decisions will be final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding such decisions. The organisers will not be responsible for any loss or damage to entries or loss or damage suffered by any person as a result of entering the competition. The head steward reserves the right to alter the competition conditions and rules without notice if deemed to be in the best interests of the competition.
